The attractive ring of stars photographed by Hubble is the results of two galaxies colliding

The Hubble House Telescope has captured beautiful pictures of two colliding galaxies which have been reworked into an enormous, glowing ring of stars by the drive of their gravity.

The pair of galaxies, referred to as Arp-Madore 417-391, is about 670 million light-years from Earth within the constellation Eridanus, situated within the Southern Hemisphere.
